Susprnded licence

I had gotten a speading ticket and I did not recive notice in the mail and I had forgotten that I had recived a ticket. Now, I have a suspended licence. I know I am at fault but is there any way that I can have my fine reduced. This is my first ticket. What do I have to do to get this cleared up.

Take the ticket to court and get a court date set. Do not drive as it is a common practice for law enforcement officers at the courthouse to follow individuals in your position to their car and then ticket them for driving with a suspended license.

You may also be able to pay a fine, with cash, and get the abstract of judgment and take it to the DMV that same and get a driver's license issued. If you pay with a check the abstract of judgment will not be issued for thirty days.
