time frame

if you just bought a vehicle,or tow truck what is the time frame you have to get insurance.

individuals that purchase a replacement or a new vechicle, and have an existing insurance policy, normally have 30 days in which to notify their insurance and pay for the policy for the car.

That may not be the case if the vehicle is being used for commercial purposes. Your best and safest course of action is to obtain insurance prior to operating the vehicle.
