Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

warrants

my son has 2 failure to appear warrants he has been avoiding,I have talked him into turning himself in,I am going to take him to our local sheriff sub station,but the warrants are in another county,does this matter,and what will likely happen. The original charge was driving on suspended.

There are easier ways to handle warrants than turning your son into the Sheriff. Find a lawyer in your area to get on calendar to hear the cases, have the warrants recalled for failing to appear, and then take care of the underlying offenses.
