Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

How can I find out if my children have a trust fund in there name. There grandfather on my ex's side passed and had millions. My children keep asking my ex husbands ex wife for money. I belive that she is taking over my role as custodioan. Not legal! for some reason she of all persons, be in control of a trust that I should be overlooking!. How can I find this information. The kids are now treating me like crap, because this woman has control of something that might just and should be in my control. This is really serious because this woman will only hand out money to my children if they hurt me. It sounds strange I know... however its true.... Q: how can i find out if there is a trust for my kids that I don't know about or have not been told , that I should have been legally in charge of the trust? This woman is a criminal by the way. ID theft & all.

If the children are beneficiaries of the trust, they would have been entitled to Notice and to request a copy of the terms of the trust. If you aren't on good enough speaking terms with any of your children to ask them if there is a trust and who is the trustee, you're better off staying out of it. (This is not legal advise.)
