Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Can't find Father's original signed will

I can find only an unsigned copy of my Dad's will, which names me and my 2 siblings as beneficiaries. His lawyer also only has an unsigned copy. Dad was married, but had not put his wife as joint tenant on some properties. If I'm unable to find the original, what are my options?

Re: Can't find Father's original signed will

in the absence of a valid will, the estate will pass by the laws of intestacy.
