IRA transfer
4 adult children are certain that they signed their fathers IRA over to his new wife upon his intestate death. the wifes (now deseased( children insist that our father left it to his wife as beneficiary. my children are now beneificiaries and i have been in contact with smith barney. they will not tell me how mother in law came to have the IRA. is this info confidential or can smith barney be forced to reveal the truth? we need to know for reasons too lengthy to go into here
