living trust

amendment to the trust to get the right to appoint an attorney by fact on the accounts and safe deposit box. please explain

Sounds like there is a desire to have someone other than the trustee access certain information and accounts. Normally, at least in the ones we prepare, we include a power of attorney as part of our trust package.

This may also be an accidenal ommission by the drafting attorney (or sevice) that was found and needed to be corrected.

Without seeing the actual trust and the proposed amendment, I am afraid I can not provide any better idea as to the purpose.
