Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
My mother passed Dec 1, 2009. I have found out because the value of house costs is now $108,000 through a reverse mortgage.I must go through Probate. Is this true? I am the only beneficiary. This is in Stockton, CA. I am in the process of going through her bills, but have heard that her bills may be dismissed since I did not invent these bills. I took care of car, home-waiting until I speak to a probate atty and all the furniture and things in the house. Thank you, Carolyn Dorsey, Greensboro, NC 336-3039376. I understand I have up to a year to decide on house mortgage, but the price is going up each month with costs that are added monthly.
