Does the advance health care directive or power of attorney provide that the agent is entitled to compensation?

Generally the holder of a power of attorney gets NO compensation. That is one of many significant differences between a power of attorney and a conservatorship. Unless the power of attorney is a "durable" power of attorney, you should also realize that it expires should the woman who gave it become mentally incapacitated.
