Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

If you know about probate, please help me with this ?

I have a hearing on 7/30/2007, and in my probate notes in says I need P & A's to support the ability of the N.Y. executrix of the estate be the Petitioner in the ''Petition to

Determine Succession to Real Property'' that I filed last month.

My ? is how can I fix this in the very least amount of time?

If the probate is in NY you need to open a probate in California to distribute real property here.

Oh, this takes the cake. You have a hearing TOMORROW, today is Sunday, and you would like a lawyer to drop everything he or she is doing to go to the law library to look up some fine point of NYS probate law, and write a brief for you, and like most LawGuru questioners, you would like all this work done for free, because, dang it, this is America and everybody has the right to a free lawyer. As they say in NY, whaddayou, nuts?

Mr. Stone is correct; you can not expect anyone to give you the answer. It is toolate to ask the court to continue the matter, so you wil have to show up in Court, make a request for more time, and then you should hire a probate attorney in New York. You probably had 2 months to prepare for this hearing.
