Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

My Rights?

My father passed in 2001. My step/mother is trustee to his trust. So far she has refused to show me a copy of the trust. I have asked her twice on the phone, and have written her a letter asking to see the trust. She refused all three times. I had an attorny write her a letter requesting same. She ignored attorny also. When I asked attorny what was to be nest move, attorny didn't know, sasid had never been ignored before. Anyone know?

Re: My Rights?

If you are a beneficiary of the trust, you should have been provided a copy of it five years ago. If you are a beneficiary and if the trustee will not cooperate, you will need to hire an attorney who will go to court for you to enforce your rights. Feel free to call my office for further consultation.

Re: My Rights?

If you think you are a beneficiary then it is time to go into court which will force her to produce the trust. Drop me an email or call my office if you would like assistance.
