Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
My rights as a wife sharing a owned home
My husband and I owned our own home for 14 years. We recently sold the home and purchased one with his mother that we all share. At close of escrow the shared property was recorded as my husbands and his mothers. I signed a document stating that the property was my husbands, a married man as his sole and seprate property. In the event that he proceeds his mother in death do I have any legal claim to the shared property and his interest in it? I'm making the payments and paying the property taxes.

To answer this question, I need to examine the title to the property. I also need to know whethter your husband has a will or trust.
