Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

I was a firefighter who was injured on the job. I saw an AME who determined i was not permanently disabled. During my exam I was not as truthful about my injury because I was trying to save my job. and the examination was not very realistic compared to the fireground. I had difficulty performing my duties because of my injury, is it possible to see the AME again to be re-evaluated or receive a second opinion? Are there any tests that are more realistic to what happens at an emergency such as a structure fire?

You may be able to get a supplemental report, if there are records that were not reviewed by AME or sometimes, AME requests additional information and may have to examine you again to complete the AME report. Feel free to call us at 213.388.7070 for a free consultation.
