Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

IOD at CA police agency as civilian performing assigned detail on OT. Can I expect a lump sum dollar award if I am classified to permanent sedentary duty? Can I expect lifetime Medical services for ailments? Can the agency force retire me or lay me off or fire me? I am treated unfairly and there is subtle harassment that is hard to prove. Just how far can they go since I have an open IOD/WC case? How can I best protect myself and job?
