can a prosecutor bring in a witness if he is the predator ?

You didn't get answers because you listed the legal area as 'workers compensation' and it is 'criminal law'. That said, I think the prosecutor can bring in anybody as a witness; it is the defense attorney's job to get the testimony excluded (or limited) if at all possible.
