Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

i have a question. i was wrongfully accused and dismissed, however when i fought it, my dismissal truned out to be unjust, and they gave me my job back. while i was unemployed my family and i, were injured emotionally because my family depended on my check, to pay for utility bills, to the point they were going to terminate some of our utilities that we depended on. now, am i entitled to workers compesation because of this?

No, you are not entitled to WC benefits. You personally were not injured physically or mentally by an injury on the job. Being terminated is not considered work related, in part because everyone who got fired, including those who acted so poorly that they should definitely have been fired, would claim WC benefits. Also, it only covers injuries to the worker and does not cover emotional distress unless it becomes so bad as to result in actual psychiatric injury or illness.
