Legal Question in Workers Comp in California
I work for a California based PEO that has changed corporate names and wants all employees to sign off on a document indicating that they are now employees of newly named corporation (as opposed to filling out new applications). Does this present any immediate legal issues?

You're not getting answers because this is NOT a Workers Compensation question. "ANY" legal issues is incredibly broad without reading your document, so it might have legal ramifications somewhere. But it won't impact your rights under the California Workers Compensation Act (so long as you agree you are an 'employee' and not an 'independent contractor').
