Legal Question in Immigration Law in Canada
looking for advice on immigration to U.S.. my son has a business in Chicago illinois and has invited me to come and help him. its a construction company and he has been quite successful. i would either be a sales consultant or general manager or possibly V.P. He is canadian and has green card and has recently applied for U.S. citizenship He has had his hearing already. If it works out I would like to shift to U.S. asap in time for the next school year and move with my wife and 3 children . The oldest is going to be 18 in July 2010.
thank you

When your son is a US citizen, he can petition for you, his father. However, your children and wife will not be included. If your wife is his mother, he can petition for her as well. If she is a step-mother, he can petition her under certain circumstances. The petitions for siblings can take longer to process.
As to your other options, it would depend on what is your education and what work visa can you qualify for.
