Legal Question in Personal Injury in Canada

Accident victim

I am from P.E.I Canada, I was in an accident in February, the 10th of 2001. I was a passenger in a jeep and the driver was speeding and we hit black ice and the jeep left the highway at approx 120 kms/hr, I was the only one injured, i recieved two fractured ribs and a laceration to my liver as well as a concussion which somehow resulted in a bump on my forehead which is still not gone. I want to know What I should seek in damages and what to consider.

Re: Accident victim

You have a case but the advise I can give you depends on whether your accident happened in Washington or Canada. Please respond and let me know.

Canada's laws are not as favorable as Washington's.

I handle cases in both Washington and in association with lawyers in Canada. You have a good case if it happened in Washington providing you can show the drive knew or should have known there was ice on the roadway before the spot of the accident.

Your injuries are compensable.

Feel free to call me. I am going to Canada for two weeks Friday. We will be in whistler if you wish to call 604 932 4323 and I will be in Seattle today through Friday. 1 800 282 4878.
