Legal Question in Personal Injury in Canada

Whiplash Injury - Not my fault Settlement has been offered

Oct. 11, 2001. An 18 year old girl in her dad's minivan ran a stop sign and I t-boned the van. There was $5000. damage done to my small sunrunner. The car was fixed and paid for by my insurance co., but I am suffering from Whiplash associated symptoms. (neck pain, dizziness, numbness in my arms & legs, headaches, tremors, and I am unable to turn my head to the right.) Her insurance co. has offered me $750. ($550 was to cover out of pocket expenses) $200 was for my ''Inconvenience'' I have been reading up on whiplash injuries and it doesn't look to good for me. I've had x-rays done, and I've got an abnormally straight spine as a result of the accident. I know that whiplash is a relatively long impairment, and was wondering if I have grounds for a lawsuit. (or more money offered from her insurance co.)

Thanks.
