Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
Class 2 Misdemeanor Theft
I was recently cited for shoplifting, which in my research shows it would be a class 2 misdemeanor. This is my first offense in ANYTHING, I am of good character, a productive member of society and feel that the misjudgement may have been caused by recently taking prescription drugs that impair judgement, mental throughts and dispersonalization. I would like to plea this down to a deffered sentence, how do I do that? Is it possible to do that?
