Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
my husband owes 750,000 in restitution when he gets out of prison, I have filed for divorce & I was wondering if I have to pay that debt also?

He committed the crime. The order of Restitution is against him and no one else. You will not be required to pay any part of the restitution provided you were not involved in his crime. Make sure in the financial statements you state the restitution amount is not shown as a marital liability.
