How long does an arrest record stay on file, my father was arrested for a bad check in 1961 in Greeley Colorado , is that arrest still on file ?

It depends on where you search. CBI may still have it, but the arrest can be removed if there was no conviction. The big question is, was there a conviction (at trial or anytime by guilty plea)?
