Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
Probation Violation
My boyfriend was on probation in TX for forgery, and had served 2 1/2 yrs of 5. He moved to CO to go to college, and did not ask to be transferred. I am pretty sure he will be charged w/violation of probation in TX. What are the consequences of this? Would they be lessened if he turns himself in? Will CO extradite him if he's caught?

Re: Probation Violation
You should contact a Texas lawyer, but he almost certainly did violate his probation, and the consequences may be that he will be required to serve his original sentence. But again, be sure to contact a Texas lawyer.
