Legal Question in DUI Law in Colorado

Drivers licenses

Why Does Colorado have a hold on my drivers license even though I have paid all my fines, done my time and taken the required classes for a DUI and DWAI? I am trying to get my license in California and for some reason keep getting the run around from both CA. and CO. even though this incident happened over 7 years ago. What do I need to do?

Re: Drivers licenses

You may have a Outstanding Judgment Warrant - basically a fee paid to a court for missing a court date.

CO DMV is supposed to tell you of the hold and where it is. You then can clear it up and get on with life. Contact CO DMV Hearings for more information.
