Not knowing California traffic law, I will have to give you kind of a generic answer. If the officer had a valid reason for stopping you (e.g. you broke local law by not having a front plate), and then gathered enough information to rise to probable cause to believe you were under the influence, then yes.
Of course, whether or not you get convicted of anything will depend on a lot of other facts. Consult with a California attorney.
