Legal Question in Family Law in Colorado
Father's rights
My son and his wife separated in December. She filed moved to Colorado and filed for divorce. The divorce papers she sent my son indicated that there were no children involved in the marriage. My son recently discovered that she is pregnant, probably with his child. What rights does my son have? Are they obligated to tell him when the child is born? He is interested in both the rights and responsibilities of fatherhood.

Re: Father's rights
I'm a little confused - where did she file? You said she "filed moved to Colorado and filed for divorce" Did she file in both Texas & Colorado? If she is currently pregnant, you do have rights concerning the child. However, it is possible that she will not tell the court about the pregnancy. To be on the safe side, you should participate in the divorce proceedings and notify the Colorado court of her condition to assure that your rights are protected.
Good Luck!

It may be useful to ask the court to determine paternity as part of the divorce proceeding.
