what does ''maintain'' mean in ''husband shall maintain his present life insurance with prudential'' the ex took my name off and took out a loan on this policy! can he b forced to pay off loan plus interest?how does one go about doing this?

can he b forced to pay passed court ordered attorney fees ? how?? thank u 4 ur advice.

"Maintain" means to keep it in effect. Generally, the mere fact that he took out a loan on the policy is not necessarily a violation. The responsibility for paying it off remains his, but generally you do not have the right to force him to pay it immediately.

Court ordered attorney fees are a different matter. For that you can file a motion for citation for contempt. That will require him to come explain to the Court why he hasn't paid. If the Court finds that he had the ability to pay and knew about the Order and didn't pay, it can penalize him in a variety of ways.
