Legal Question in Immigration Law in Colorado
I am 15 years of age currently a Junior attending high school in Colorado. I am a British citizen and we have a Visa to be over here for 4 years. I will finish high school over here but then will have to go back to england. However I would like to go to college here. From my research I am aware that I must apply for a student visa after being accepted into a college. However if I get accepted into a Colorado university and get a student visa will I have to pay the full out of state tuition. In addition how would I go about staying in this country after my college education?
1 Answer from Attorneys
As a foreign student on a student visa you will be required to pay tuition for foreign students. As to staying in USA after graduation, it really depends on each person's situation: employer's petition; work visa; family member's petition; etc.
