demand for payment, mobile home

I was served a demand for payment, i rent to own a mobile home, the floors are falling in and there is no electric in half the home, do i have grounds to fight the demands?

You may have a defense of constructive eviction, if the mobile home is truly uninhabitable. Also, if the mobile home is falling apart because the owner of the mobile home has breached a promise made to you in the lease or otherwise, you may have a defense there. Absent any of these conditions, if the mobile home is in the same condition now as it was when you took possession, or if the damages are your fault, you may be obligated to pay.
