Legal Question in Personal Injury in Colorado
dog injury torn acl mcl fibia fracture
There a two dogs running at large off leases in neighborhood,(I think chasing each other, I did not see them when i went out there) i go outside (to get my daughter age 9 whos playing) front yard walk down the sidewalk, stop ,and talk to the two neighbors. ( each one owns one of the two loose dogs) One of the dog hits me ,as they are chasing each other coming around a corner knocks me down, causes major knee injury. Is anyone liable for my medical bills? Which dog owner? Or are they both liable? Since both dogs were off lease running around? I know which dog hit me. I'm not sure who is liable if anyone? i was not a on either of thier property? The one dog owner of the dog that did not hit me, knows it was the other dog, the owner of the dog that hit me is none appoligetic and acting like nothing happend. What should I do?

You can sue the owner of the dog that knocked you down for per se negligence if your town has a leash law.
Good luck.
