Legal Question in Personal Injury in Colorado

My granddaughter took an overdose of allergy medication at a friend's home and died there. She was 13 years old and obtained the medication in that home. Does her family have any legal recourse?

My sincere condolences on the loss of your granddaughter. There may be a claim against the homeowners where your granddaughter was given the drugs - these matters require experienced attorneys who have handled such claims because of the need to establish knowledge and breach of duty on the part of the homeowners. The parents or guardians of your granddaughter should consult with a Colorado lawyer promptly, particularly if an autopsy has not been performed. My firm has handled such claims and would provide a free consultation to answer their questions.

The information provided to you in this answer is not, nor is it intended to be, legal advice. You should consult an attorney for advice regarding your individual situation if you have further questions.
