Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Colorado
Attorney Issued Summons In Forcible Entry And Unlawful Detainer
How Do I Defend Against An Eviction Action When The Court Uses Terms I Do Not Understand... Or When I Ask A Question Or Have Been Asked A Question, They Do NOT Help Me To Understand What I Ask Or Allow Me To Finnish Answering What They Ask. Is This How The Court Treats People Qualified To Practice Law Or Just The Ones That Dont Understand. any advise will be greatly appreciated

Dear LawGuru User:
Unfortunately I do not have expertise in this area (I practice real estate law, not landlord/tenant law), except to tell you that in general, Colorado tenants have few rights.
A search for "renters rights Colorado" or "tenants rights Colorado" on the internet will give you quite a bit of information. Also, tenants with low incomes who are Denver residents may contact the Legal Aid Society of Metropolitan Denver, which I think has a program which makes attorneys available to them.
Thank you for using LawGuru.
Sincerely,
