Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Colorado
foreclosure
I was wondering how far behind on your mortgage you are able to fall before they start foreclosure proceedings and if they deposit checks for your mortgage and then tell you there sending all that money back. what is the law on that

Re: foreclosure
Afternoon,
It all depends. They can proceed with the foreclosure process upon your default, generally. That, of course, rarely happens. It is normally a series of letters over several months of nonpayment before they begin the process.
