Can CA suspend my CO drivers license? I am a CDL driver from CO with an unpaid/unappeared offense in CA.

No, California lacks power to suspend a Colorado license; they can only suspend your privilege to drive in California. What California can, and will do though, is as member of an interstate compact is report the unpaind offense to Colorado, and Colorado will place a "hold" on your license. That "hold" suspends your license.

So you probably should hire local California counsel to handle this matter for you before Colorado takes action.

Mr Cassens is correct. What we typically see as attorneys is that when a person does not pay for a ticket in one state, then tries to get a new license in another state or renew a current license they have in another state they are informed that they must take care of the situation in the other state first. Off course this takes time because there is typically an arrest warrant that needs to be handled, then a court date needs to be arranged and the case needs to be settled. However, this still does not take care of it because the driver needs to reinstate with the DMV in the state with the unpaid ticket. This can take more time as the DMV is infamously slow. Deal with it now before it prevents you from working.
