Legal Question in Business Law in Connecticut
Online Car Lotto
I saw a website that sold lotto tickets to win a car. I was wondering would this take any license or anything. If all the money made from the lotto...went into buying and shipping the car...and the rest of the income goes to a charity?

Yes. Various states have laws about it. If you are trying to raise money, CT does allow some sorts of gaming and this might be allowed, but you still would have to get a permit. I assist non-profits and churches and would be happy to discuss this matter with you further. 860.786.8763.
