Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Connecticut

The company I previously worked for is sending me FINAL DEMAND notice regarding money I "borrowed" against my paycheck while still employed with them. The notice they sent me states that I have 10 days to pay them the monies I owe or they will start legal/collection proceedings and that they have tried several times to contact me regarding this 'debt'. I have NOT received one piece of mail or phone message stating that they are looking to collect. Is this legal since there was no signed form stating that I ever "borrowed" money and considering they have no documentation of any attempts to collect... PLEASE HELP I don't know how to proceed. THANKS

Did you borrow the money? Do you owe the money? If the answer is yes, then you should call them and work out a payment plan.
