Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Connecticut

I just received a bill from my doctor for services performed in 2007. This came completely out of the blue as I have not received any correspondence from them until now. Is that legal?

I don't have enough information to answer the question (i.e. did you have insurance, did you go to the doctor on the date they claim you went, did you move...etc.)

Did you go to the doctor in 2007? Do you owe the money? I don't think too much time has passed to have a statute of limitations defense.
