Guam & Dominican Republic divorces?

Are these instant quick divorces really as easy - and LEGAL - as the internet makes them sound? What's the catch?

They're legal. The catch is that unless the other party actually goes there and participates, no financial orders (alimony - or lack of alimony, property division, etc.) will be honored.
