Can a judgement be ruled against you in a custody hearing without papers being served if they were supposed to be served?

You have the constitutional due process right of "notice" and "opportunity to be heard."
If a custody judgment was ordered against you without you being properly served you should move to vacate the judgment. Your time is limited so you need to act.
