Filing H4 to H1 transfer

Hi,

I'll be applying for H4 to H1 transfer on 1st April. My H4 is expiring on 1st June 2007. My husbands company will file for extension in April. Is filing H1 possible in this scenario? If not what are my options?

You H1 will not be approved until October. Until H1 is approved you may extend your H4.

Hi,

Is it possible for your husband to file his extension now, and premium process, along with your H4 extension?

This would avoid any potential timing issues or complications because, by the time you apply for the transfer in April, your H4 status will have been extended well beyond the October 1st start date for H1B.
