Legal Question in Insurance Law in Connecticut

Accident in another state

My daughter was in an accident 4 days ago in Stamford Conneticut while a passenger in her girlfriends car. They were hit from behind and the other driver was at fault. We contacted their insurance agent from Orlando FL which is where we live and have the info about the insurance. My daughter had to go to Hosiptal for a check up as did her girlfriend and her daughter because they were very sore. Nothing very special but hurt. The people who caused accident insurance company says they arent responsible for the medical and told them so in not so many words. My question is what can I do to make them pay for the medical and what proceedure do i take especially since I am in a different state. Thank You Jeff

Re: Accident in another state

The host vehicle has no fault medical coverage. All medical claims should be processed through their insurance carrier.
