Legal Question in Employment Law in Connecticut

Equal pay for equal work

I am a baylor program nurse at a healthcare center.I am a charge nurse and I work 7a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, and am the only employee with weekday baylor hours.I work 24 hours, and my bonus is 8 hours pay/week. I found out that weekend day baylor nurses who received same bonus were given 16 hours bonus pay instead of 8: all other day baylors were recently raised to that bonus level-except me, because I do baylor hours during the week. My job duties and skills are exactly the same as my counterparts on weekends. I was told that the weekend baylors give up every weekend and I do not,so I will not realize the bonus-it seems I am valued less than they. We do not have a union. Is this discrimination under the Fair Pay Act of 1994 or the Federal Equal Pay act of 1963?

Re: Equal pay for equal work

It may be discrimination under the equal pay act depending on a few other variables.
