Recourse if dissatisfied with Federal Labor Board settlement with employer
The Federal Labor Board recently concluded an investigation of my former employer in CT and reached a settlement with a large number of ex-employees for back wages. It was not reached to my satisfaction and I have documentation to validate my position. It is my understanding that virtually all ex-employees have signed documentation with the former employer agreeing to their individual settlements but I have not signed or accepted their offer.
My questions are as follows:
1)Do I have any recourse regarding this case? i.e. Because I am dissatisfied, may I pursue the case individually?
2)Does the case close regardless of whether I sign and accept my check or not?

As you did not join in the case, you should be able to pursue your claims individually assuming that you do not have a statute of limitations problem and assumming the settlment did not preclude you from bringing a separate claim.
