evicting a family member

If you have a witnessed and notrized letter stating that someone, who does not have a legal lease with a homeowner, but has been living in that home, is to move out of said home by a certain date, is that a binding agreement between 2 people?

If it has contractual language and appears to be a written contract signed by both of them then you probably do, however, I would have to read it.
