Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Connecticut
Commercial Vehicle parking at Condo Complex
I drive a tow truck part time dealing with AAA, State and Local Police. We are required to respond to highway calls within a certain time frame due to the hazard of being disabled on the highway. My complex stated that since the truck has the name of the company on the side of the truck, that I can't park there. However, based on the bylaw for our complex please read following: No industry, business, trade, occupation or profession of any kind, be it commercial, religious, education or otherwise may be conducted, maintained,or permitted in any unit.No commercial vehicles, etc, may be parked on the property unless they are servicing the property itself or one of the units. No Vehicle shall be parked on any part of the property unless same are operational for the HIGHWAY and are registered with a motor vehicle department. So I am arguing that since my vehicle is considered an Emergency Services Vehicle, that this except should allow me to park(only several hours at a time) in my OWN parking space in front of my condo. This except sounds contridictory, so if you can help on which angle I can take, that would be appreciated.

Sorry. Tow truck is a commercial vehicle and falls under...
"No commercial vehicles, etc, may be parked on the property unless they are servicing the property itself or one of the units."
