Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Connecticut
what is in real estate "motion to substitute committee"

If you are going through a mortgage foreclosure, there are a number of ways to defend against the foreclosure through a possible loan modification or possibly through bankruptcy. I would strongly suggest you consult with an attorney and develop a strategy. A motion to substitute committee is merely a motion to replace the current committee that is charged with selling the property. Also, if you have equity in your property, there may be a number of alternatives you have to save the property with proper legal counsel.

It sounds like the original committee appointed by the court could not perform the duty of selling the property at auction for some reason so he/she must request the court to appoint someone else.
Not sure why Atty Lasko gave you extra fluff but that's my answer.
