Legal Question in Tax Law in Connecticut
IRS called
The IRS called my father (we have same name) gave my last 4 digits of SS# to verify they are looking for me.
The issue is i filed extensions for 06 and 07 but never filed a tax return.
Will they eventually find me and if so should I have a tax attorney call.
Also- i have paid taxes before the past two years.

Re: IRS called
You absolutely need a tax lawyer! Although the IRS may not necessarily prosecute, you must be prepared. Communications with a tax attorney are confidential but accountant communications are not.
If the IRS calls say nothing! Simply acknowledging that you should have filed a return makes you "wilfull" in failing to file.
Call your tax attorney now!
I hope this helps!
