Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Delaware

Getting the shaft from avon

My wife sold $900 worth of avon product to someone in december. We closed our avon account in january and were expecting a check in 6 weeks. But the man we sold the avon to claimed he did not make the purchase even though we have a correspondence with him over a month over email. Avon refunded his $900 but have given us a bill for $484. Which was the final cost to avon for the product. We have contacted police from our home state as I am in the military and we had to move across country. But the police have yet to help us. Is there anythng we can do to either get our check for our earnings from our work or at the very least get out of paying the $484 because its not ours to pay since we shipped the product for him already and can't come up with the money to get creditors off our backs. Thank you

Re: Getting the shaft from avon

Sue him in Small Claims court for the money he owes you and hope for the best.
