2 Week Notice

I gave my job a written 2- week notice, and they walked me out a few hour later. My job is in VA, but I live in DC. Are they legally obligated to pay me for the 2 weeks?

The job is in VA, therefore, VA law controls. VA is an at-will state, I doubt that they will pay you for the two weeks. They are not obligated to do so. You may want to see if they owe you money for vacation or other benefits. If so, request that they pay you.
